At top are the nuts that are hard to crack (perhaps because they are hardened with benefits)

Macadamia: First Presidency, very tasty but in no way a staple. Too expensive and over-priced.

Brazil nut: Seventies, somewhat bitter but large and in charge.

Pecans: Mission presidents and Stake presidents. Still expensive, but a little sweeter and a little more accessible.

Almonds: Bishops. A treat for the lower classes.

Peanuts: Typical ward members, peanuts can take a lot of abuse. They can be ground into peanut butter without complaint. Easiest to crack, too.

Exmos are walnuts. The nut that most resembles a brain.

I like walnuts. I like peanut butter, too...

What about pine nuts? Hazelnuts/filberts? Pistachios?
