I've told my family basic things that I've found out about the church and things that I dont understand about doctrine. But they are saying that I must be getting all of this from "anti-mormon" sites and that its all probably lies. They want to see evidence from church resources.

I am of course going to do my own research and put together stuff, but I was wondering if anyone would be will to help with giving me things you've found from church resources that make you question the church. Thank you!!

You are not going to find in their church history things to confirm whatever falsehoods you are looking for. They have sanitized it to much. There is the fact that everything is about "obedience". Whatever you are told to do you are expected to do it. There is guilt that comes with thinking you have failed to live up to your priesthood. Secret handshakes and I'll also be as bold as to mention secret names and the silly green hats/aprons. I will also say that no one ever got a DUI from Iced Tea.

Here's something you can do. Go to Google Images and look up Isis and Osiris. Look at a lot of pictures of them and get to know them on sight. Then turn to Facsimile 3 in the Book of Abraham. Find them in the image. Now look down at Joseph Smith's "explanations." Have your family explain that one.

I recommend the Book of Abraham. It's their book. If they believe it was translated from ancient writings, you are done debating. Find an alternate course.

Your request is kind of like asking someone to quickly document the history of the United States. There's so much, where to begin?

I suggest doing some studying of your own. Here are some good sources. Print these off, highlight the Mormon sources and show the best ones to your folks.
