I'm in a hospital waiting room this morning. A friend of mine is having emergency surgery and a group of us want to be here when she gets out of the recovery room.

A year ago, I would have been in church all day instead of with my friend in need.

Hope your friend recovers fully. I'm getting a presentation ready for work tomorrow and am going to put together a trampoline in a few minutes. What I'd like is a nap.

Working in the patch today. This phase of the project is coming to an end so it is all out no-time-off mode for everbody. Makes for long days and long weeks.

Well, I am going to church; not TSCC.

The fun thing about going to Mark's church, there is no bishop pulling you aside mentioning your tithes are a little down. No one from the relief society mentioning "Sister X" needs some housework done. No one saying, "Since your tithes are down," as you are handed a toilet brush, "Go clean the toilets."

I guess I am still a 'member' of TSCC, they just have not contacted me in the last three years.

I may make some coffee before I start breakfast, after breakfast I'm going to get my chili into the slow cookerto have for dinner later. Other than a little cooking, I plan to just take it easy today.

My niece is 9 today, so we'll go over to my sister's place and celebrate with a birthday dinner.

The not-so-good part is that after digging out from Friday's big storm, now we're under a freezing rain warning for tonight. Lovely.

Lamenting the fact that Chick Fil A is closed on Sunday.

Long walk ahead with my doggie and her boyfriend. Yoga. Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning. Planning a partay. Gathering gifts for Valentines and finalizing cards to send.

I'll be studying for a mid-term with a beach walk thrown in at some point (if the weather isn't shite).

I'll be playing with my kids and taking care of sick wife.

If conditions improve here, this afternoon I'll be going out with my brother-in-law to see Django Unchained for a second time. My hopes for this happening are not high.

Reading RfM while waiting for stake conference to start. I gotta get back to work on my exit plan...

Grocery shopping, piyo, reading, and hopefully taking a nap. I love Sunday's!!!

Cleared the fresh snowfall form overnite. Had some coffee. Making my daughter's birthday diner. Surfing the boards. Listening to some good music.

Just dropped off the dog I was watching over the weekend. Roasting some veggies for a recipe I'm creating and grill steak later on since the snow is deciding to melt already. Getting some earrings bagged to donate to The Cinderella Project tomorrow and watching The Walking Dead later. Whoo-hoo! Let the zombie nightmares start anew!

LMAO..maybe not grilling since it started snowing again. You'd think we were living in the Springs instead of northern NM.

Happy B-day,Timothy. My first dozen years really sucked, and my teenage years were worse. But I'm 55 now, and retired. I intend to match every moment of trauma with a moment of joy de vivre.

Workout, then household accounting, then work on a project that will build new skills, make some money, and be fun all at the same time.

Real accomplishments and self-improvement, in other words, not the reluctant pursuit of some nebulous perfection.

I woke up late after having to work at my other job last night and for now I'm still in my PJs. But I need to get caught up on HW, chores, and other things.

It was like the first week of January in there today.

I had to wait on a couple of machines.

Made a cardboard fort to attach to our garage because...well because we are wierd.

Then we have played Halo and played with the pup.

Now vegan "chicken" sandwiches.

I went to visit my college son in Davis, CA. Had a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch. Having a cocktail back home now. It's a mild breezy day here in NorCal. Good times, matey. Yar.

I cooked up some homemade chicken noodle soup for my family.

Slept late, went shopping at the fabric store, had late lunch with mate at a great Italian restaurant, more shopping, came home and had a nap, had late supper. Couldn't be better.
