Someday, maybe when I move out of Utah County, I won't be so acutely aware of when general conference is. But in the meantime, I tend to come back to this board every six months just so I can be reminded that not everyone is going gaga over the general authorities today. Good to see everyone again and I'll see you again in October, if not sooner. ;)

By the way, coming up on seven years since I sent in my resignation and not feeling itchy about it at all! :)

Cedar City??? Big enough for a temple? My convert daugher lived there....I visited once....seemed small to me.

Cedar city is small and is 30-45 minutes from St. George temple. A waste of money if you ask me.

They need some place to spend those billions.

May as well build another mall.

Cedar City has a college and the Shakespeare Festival. The temple will likely rival a fast food restaurant in size.

My TBM wife can't stand the Women speakers because of that "voice" that they put on.

- Crave 'even just a touch' of accountability/responsibility in return for their donations...

-TIRED of the shopworn, trite, & banal sayings 'from the top'

Haven't watched for years. Nothing has changed I see as I watch now. Still the same boring droning tone that leads one's mind to wander and think how uninspiring, unrehearsed, and untrue. I wonder why they use teleprompters? They only do this twice a year. How come they need this tool? Our pastor delivers his message each week without even a note. It's amusing, inspiring, moving, and instructing. What, these guys our prophets? Yet people post these messages ob their Facebook pages as if it's some new prophetic utterance. Blah!

It's always good to come back and check--just to make sure nobody has gone wacko and ordered a resumption of blood atonement. One can never be too safe. :)

If they did bring back BA, I'm sure Elder Eyring would give a moving, weepy testimony about its virtues.
