Oh yes, I've used that phrase so often myself. It really is!
I learned that very soon after I began working for the Church. It was quite an eye-opener.
While I was still a believer, I wondered why Heavenly Father would put me into a job which would damage my testimony. I used to say to my friends, "If you ever want to keep your testimony intact, don't ever work for the Church. Keep your church life and your work life separate."
But yeah, good ole boys club is exactly what it is. And a corporation, where their product is simply their version of how you can get into Heaven. There are a LOT of club fees involved as well.
