A religious fraud takes pains to develop a PR facade that incorporates the more desirable features of society; otherwise no dime comes in. Many exmos become for a time antimos; that is, they reject anything to do with the morg, examined or not. While no person of integrity would continue in the morg, how should he or she make decisions in the new weltanschauung, or style of life? A few points: 1) Food. You might question the intelligence of one who took up smoking, drinking liqueurs, or injecting chemicals. But read Brillat-Savarin's "Physiology of Taste" to learn the best ways of making coffee and chocolate, and the exmo is on his or her way to living a richer life. 2) Fitness. Why inflict on yourself the artificial and intense socialization the morg dishes out? Why herd together and come to a sticky end in some morg-like marathon? Jogging alone or taking a long walk while you think quietly seems far better. A pedestrian is a man in fear for his life; a walker is a man in possession of his soul, as the saying is. Military. Following the lead of the RCC, the morg presidency declared years ago that morgs in the military who find themselves killing others will not be judged by "god" for it. Better surely to decide for yourself who the enemy is, or whether there is an enemy at all. Perhaps read Robert Graves, Goodbye to All That, or Ambrose Bierce, Civil War Stories. The morg will gradually fade away as you make your own decisions, no longer reflecting its outdated construct. How would you transcend it?
