I was reading an article about Sitka where the author mentioned that they have Grizzly rather than Black bears there. The bears sometimes get their heads stuck in the "pet doors" and you have to call animal control.

So I asked my son what would he do if he had a Grizzly firmly stuck in a pet door that wasn't going anywhere.

(Remember he was raised stateside and has only seen a Grizzly in a zoo. He has NO IDEA how dangerous they are)

He said "I'd get a feather and tickle his nose!"

"Would you put curlers in his hair too?" Or shave half of his face? I asked.

Maybe he said.

I mentioned this to his father later. My ex said "well, I'd open a can of dog food and put it on a plate for him to eat while waiting for animal control."

I told my son his Father's idea.

He then widened his eyes and looked at me innocently and asked "Would he feed the bear or put the plate just out of his reach?"
