I don't believe in a "higher power". I don't believe in anything supernatural. I don't believe in fate.

Yet there is one thing that doesn't make sense that fits all of these in some aspect...

I believe in my ability to improve myself, but also something a bit more I can't put my finger on.

I have not just a hope, but a belief that I will overcome all of the hardships I have and am currently dealing with...

I have changed so much.

I believe that when I die, someone will claim that I have made a positive difference in this world.

I truly believe I will.

In my mind, something exists that feels beyond me...a hope I think is true...

While I can discredit so much, there is something, a drive, I can't put my finger on...

Not a god, a religion, or anything like it...

Just a thought I try to put into reality...

I will make a positive difference. One that when I draw my last breath, I can feel peace about.

Yep, well said.

(The only place I disagree is "ability to improve myself" - that's just something I've let go - I no longer worry much about improving myself - I'm satisfied with myself "as is.") However, I do believe in my power to improve my life situation. I also have on intangible "faith" or "hope" that things will turn out for the good. Of course me personality type is "idealist."
