I was surprised, Ms. Arias took 19 minutes and: "came clean" in many ways: admitted she lied, took responsibility for her choices, said: "I'm sorry" and tried to convince the jury that she was a real person that could have a productive life in jail with illustrations of what she would like to do. It was an interesting presentation of slides,photo's etc.

The "survivor" shirt turned me off, and probably a lot of others. Just one more thing people did not believe in her testimony.

She went "off the rails" in my view talking about Travis and what I would call the "dark side" and how she wanted to avoid all of that.

She came across as clipped, cold, and unemotional in most ways.

Did she save her life?

We are waiting for the jury to make a decision.

She said she'd donated to Locks of Love before the trial and would continue to do so.

I have donated to Locks of Love and just re-verified on their website: they will only accept donations of hair that is ten inches long, bound in a braid or ponytail.

So my question is this: Does anyone know if Jodi Arias has had ten inches cut off her hair? Still looks pretty long to me. I think it's all BS.

It's too bad LoL charges the recipients of the hair pieces they make. For some reason they are promoted as a donator of wigs.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths or Wigs for Kids may be better alternatives.

She does seem to have nice-ish hair, but knowing it's been bleached blond I know it isn't really in very good condition, under the current demure dye job.

And yeah, no ten inch loss that I've seen since I first heard about her, only slow progression of growth caused by regular trims.

I think she was talking about the past. Apparently she has changed her hair color and length several times. I can see that it's possible to donate in her case.

She can grow her hair so she should be spared the death sentence?

Did I hear that right?

I heard the whole thing. Part of it twice.

Were all the family members for the death penalty or were they divided?

I don't know. Nobody seems to know for sure. It appears that Travis's family wants the death penalty, understandably.

Ya, it gets to be a bit over the top! I had an HLN "After Dark" on the other night, and it went on for hours, discussing every little tiny thing...

I wouldn't miss it! But that's just me.
I like to hear other attorney's try to figure out what the strategy of the defense is really about...
very interesting to hear them try to get off the case, over and over! hehe
