Yard work. Fly fishing in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah. Yard work. Camping in the Tetons. Yard work. Camping in Yellowstone. Yard work. Maybe a camping trip to Zions? Yard work. Oh yeah, I have to restain the deck. Possibly a week with my aunt in Seattle (but we did that last year, so probably not again this year). Did I mention yard work? Lazy days sitting on the porch swing enjoying a cool breeze. Barbequing multiple times a week. Go to bed as late as I want.
Yes I am also a teacher and have two and a bit months off but my months off will be July and August so on the home stretch. Will head to Italy travelling around this summer.
I'm done June 6...YEAH!! Plans to spend LOTS of time at the camp we are remodeling, and also a week at the Outer Banks of NC. Can't wait...bring on summer!!
In two weeks I'll be free from teaching until the end of September!
I have no idea how I'm going to get through these last few weeks.
I love my students. But by this time of the year when I look at them all I can see is the beach, all I can hear are the waves. I'm sure they feel the same way about me :)
I'm not done until June 27, and am back at work about August 29. Have an out of town wedding to attend towards the end of July, otherwise my summer is wide open. Looking forward to a couple of "unscheduled" months!
I am soooo done. Not only for the summer but retired this year as well.
Will be trying out our new truck camper, kayaking Lake Powell, puttering in the garden, flying out to nearby communities for early morning breakfast in my ultralight (that tithing bought).
Slowly decompressing. Feels so good. Hang in there for those not out yet.
because I am retiring from teaching secondary school. Not at a full pension but at a decent one that allows me to live well. Oh, the places I'll go ... so many options, its great.
Last day is this Thursday! Can. Not. WAIT. We're headed out to Anaheim this weekend for four days, and then back for hiking and camping all summer long. If there's a heaven, it's called summer vacation.
