I have it on good authority that the temple cleaning crews have to continually replace crystals from the chandeliers. Seems stealing souvenirs from the lawrd's house isn't dishonest enough for maintaining a good Mormon temple access card.

I too heard this from a temple worker in the preston temple around 6 years ago,more so the crystal droplets from wall lights,one was taken from the bride's room.

I guess you could say who can blame them?

"I paid for this damn temple and I'm taking a little bit of it home!"

If they have a temple recommend I'd say they paid enough in tithes to own part of the temple.

Let them take home a crystal. geez.

They should just sell them in the gift shop and cut their losses.

They could be engraved with that day's temple names, hanging in neat rows marked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday . . .

Well the locker rooms in the temple have actual locks.....can't trust anybody these latter days.

I always wondered about that....if no dishonest person may enter, then why the hell do I have to lock up my skirt and blouse??
Then I figured it out: the inverted stars/pentagrams on the temple aren't working at keeping out the trolls!! Damn trolls! Sneaking in, stealing people's ugly church clothes, crystals from chandeliers, oil, pens, temple stationary...trolls will steal anything, even if it's ugly and made of polyester.

This reminds me of the Snow White Disneyland ride. The workers there sometimes have to replace the apple that's glued to the witches hand several times a day. I took it once, but I hurt my leg on the stupid rails. Never thought to snag me a crystal. Anyone have a temple recommend I can borrow for a day? Please?
