We will be in San Antonio next week and would love to have a meetup with anyone in the area. We will be there from 6/5-6/9, but we have commitments during some of our time there. Our son is graduating from Air Force basic, and we're flying in for the events.

Casa Rio? You must not live in San Antonio. Casa Rio has bland tourist food just like all the other restaurants along the River Walk. If you want to experience real Mexican food, then you have to leave the River Walk and go to a real Mexican restaurant.
The better Tex-Mex Mexican Restaurants are owned by Iranians. There are different styles of Mexican food depending upon where in Mexico the cook is from.
