In this year's"priesthood" manual the "saints" are being taught the doctrines of Lorenzo Snow. As I was perusing the teachings of "the church's " most ignominious prophet I noticed he stated that his sister Eliza R. Snow,the poetess Zion, did not marry in this life, but would find a companion in the next.

That is a big wheel barrow full of camel dung. In the Nauvoo era there seems to be pretty good evidence that the poetess became a plural wife of...Joseph Smith,and the sealing was consummated.

So sister Eliza was married. And she loved her husband Joseph.

After JS died, Eliza ended up marrying Brigham Young for time only.

The church is spending it on whitewash. Gallons and gallons of it.

As a kid, I didn't really pay attention to what people were saying in church, or either they didn't even explain correctly, but because of that, growing up I thought that Eliza R. Snow was Lorenzo's wife.

Isn't Lorenzo the author of, "As man is, God once was; as God is, man may become"? And do I have the quote write?

It showed up in the first TV version of "Battlestar Galactica," the one with Ben Cartwright. (Or is it Ben Cart-right? Cart-write?) Well, never mind...Lorne Greene.

She wasn't only his wife, she was his right-hand woman-counselor. She was probably the only woman he actually listened to, or respected. (Well, maybe he respected her.)

She married Joseph when she was already 38 and he died two years later without giving her any kids.

Eliza was also the woman who the early church leaders depended on to sell polygamy. She was looked up to and revered, she was mormon royalty. When the young girls reached marriage age (14!?), and turned into targets for all the bearded, tophat wearing freaks, she was there to take slow walks with the girls and warm them up to the principle. sick sick sick

What was ignominous about Lorenzo Snow, and how would it be worse than Brigham Young?
