why didn't the lds missionaries in japan raise their arms to the square and command the surging sea and the heaving earth to be still in the name of their Christ and their God? All that power in their little fingers and they're too selfish to use it to help some unfortunate people out. Imagine the glory they could've given God if they had done this! Millions would've converted.

My guess, the Japan missionaries doubted their priesthood power like all men of the church do. If they raised their arm to a square and the wave kept coming, that would mean they were not worthy enough to harness God's power. No one wants to look bad in front of their peers, hence the words, 'if it be thy will, Lord'.

you know, prophesy?

You'd think a 9.0 Earthquake that kills 10,000 people would be worth mentioning to ole Tommy, our PSR on Earth.

No, he's too busy worrying about tattoos and SLC shopping malls.
