Now I'm curious about the activity level of individual wards & branches throughout the world.

I'd like to take a census here about what you experienced in wards & branches you attended whether it was on your mission, or your home ward, etc.

1) Ward or Branch?
2) How many attended each Sunday?
3) Where was this?
4) How many wards & branches were in the Stake?

Lethbridge (AB) 3rd Ward....back in the dark ages (60's) probably 700 members...5 wards in the city back then and a couple in outlying towns.

we were baptized into a branch.

20 members +-
Vlissingen the Netherlands.

NO idea how big the stake was. I was a young kid.

then we moved

to Lelystand the Nethelands
Branch of about 50 people

Then moved to Apeldoorn
Ward of about 150 people.

The Netherlands only had 2 stakes as far as I can remember. Split down the middle. :D

Maybe there are three now. I'm not sure.

The stake in my area is huge and growing...due to new move-ins, not conversions. Utah, 12 wards in stake, regular attendance of 200 or so per ward.

On my mission in Brazil, there were stakes with 6 wards plus other branches and mission areas that probably had total stake attendance of less than 250. I was in a ward in my first area...we had attendance of 15-20 each week, but there were like 1200 members on the rolls. We did lots of reactivation...many people we met didn't know anything about the church...one guy we met had been baptized when he was 6.

1. Ward

2. About 130 on a typical Sunday - But I have it on good authority that there are about 400 members on the rolls

3. Ogden, UT

4. 7 Wards and one branch (at a retirement home)
