So I mentioned I hit a tiny puddle of water last week. By tiny, I mean I drove into an intersection that appeared fine, but actually contained a couple feet worth of rain water.

Funny thing, the missionaries in my local area did almost the same exact thing. The missionaries live in an apartment above my TBM sister's car, and their vehicle was quickly declared totaled, as it had sucked water up into the engine. My sister then decided my own car was totaled as well, since I am a wicked apostate, and surely God would not spare my vehicle a smiting, when he had smitten the cult recruitment vehicle.

Well, my mechanic was swamped full of vehicles. He has a reputation for being fair on prices and honest, so he gets a lot of work. It took him a while to get to my vehicle. What he did do was pull the spark plugs, and let the thing sit for a couple days, after which it dried out, and ran fine.
