Have the Church members in Japan been told...

...that they need to carry on paying their tithing, like Hinkley told the people of New Orleans after the hurricane?

If I were in a disaster zone I would consider paying tithing if the church was providing me with an amount of assistance equal to or greater than what I would be paying in tithing. That way it would really be just like going to the grocery and paying them for food and supplies.
