From one of my free newspapers where I live..

How can they be this way since the changes a few weeks ago??

My guess is that "honored" and "excited/excitement" are the new "in" buzzwords for people to use.

One reason for the use of buzzwords (of any kind) is that they remove the need to do any deeper thinking about the subjects being discussed.
