Was going to post this earlier but my mission district in Spain is becoming

Was going to post this earlier but my mission district in Spain is becoming a stake.

My Facebook is flooding with this news but I can't find it anywhere.

The only things I can find are this old news? No Date.

It says my mission The Spain Las Palmas Mission will be or was combined with the Spain Malaga Mission?

So if my mission got combined how do we now have all this stake business?

I was on Tenerife June 1992 and there was most certainly no LDS stake there...

I got nothing. Anyone?

It is so stupid. After 20 years all these former missionaries are flying out there for the creation of this stake. Whoopty doooo.

I'd like to go back to enjoy the islands as a tourist like I wanted to 20 years ago.

I was in the Spain, Malaga mission about 20 years ago. They combined with Las Palmas a few years ago. There were 5 missions in Spain when I was there but Bilbao combined with Barcelona and Las Palmas went back to being a part of the Malaga mission.

I'm glad the Spanish people aren't buying into this nonsense any more.

Our numbers where inflated by "boat and basketball baptisms."

Dunk the Blacks working on the boats and the boys playing basketball in the street.
