A thought about the JOD...

Mo apologists (as quoted online, at least) are quick to say that the JOD wasn't accepted as 'scripture' by LDS, Inc....

BUT: weren't most of the contents from GA ('Dodo') talks, in GC & other? Weren't they presented to 'the Saints' as Gospel?

I HATE their 'speaking as a man' disclaimer, it undercuts / annihilates any cred they may have claimed.

Yep we have no way of knowing whether to listen to BY or the current GAs. They don't seem to know either.
