I was taliking with a tbm woman near retirement age and been in the tscc for life. I asked her if she ever read D&C 132 She asked where that was found in the Bible...(seriously wtf?) After she read it she was confused but said the church doesn't believe that anymore.

thanks for all the effort you've gone through to assemble these items. It has already paid dividends with someone I'm working with to lead out of TSCC. Just one suggestion, it would be helpful if you had more references/sources/quotes for each of your numbered items. In other words, when people click one of the numbered items to look at the evidence, it would be helpful to have at least a half dozen evidences that prove the validity of that numbered item. I'm sure there are a number of exmos, including myself, that would be happy to help you with this, if you're interested. Good Luck!

This is a very good list. Some that even I didn't know!
As ex-mormons this is something we have to bear in mind. Most mormons don't know these things, so we shouldn't say "Mormons believe x, y and z", because most mormons don't know these things, therefore they don't believe it. We should word these things differently (e.g. "According to church doctrine, x, y and z").
You might consider reviewing it as to who the target audience is.
If it is Mormons than having the line in it that says they are lying if they say they don't believe in polygamy is not helpful and would stop them from reading.
They can't be lying if they don't know they still believe in polygamy.

True.. but they should understand what they believe.
And you shouldn't gratuitously insult a group you are trying to reach. Anagrammy's observation is correct and the suggested change easy to implement.
"Misinformed" and "lying" are not synonyms. Use both words if you must, but a blanket charge of lying is a lie. Kind of puts a dent in your credibility.
Small suggestion. For some of us, reading blue lettering, etc on a black background is very difficult. I couldn't get through it with ease. Would need white background, if possible.
Yes, it's true that many LDS do not know what their religion teaches. I learned more about the history after I left it.

I have to leave the black background unfortunately or it would mess up other posts I have.
When I was a TBM I would encounter people who would declare that they knew more about my own religion than I did. They were wrong every time. Nonetheless, they did it to try and get a rise out of me and they did it because they wanted to treat me as less than human just because I was Mormon.
The tone I see here doesn't look all that different. This is especially true with your declaration that all Mormons are lying when they say that they don't believe in polygamy. You are wrong. There are tons of Mormons who don't believe in polygamy and are being honest.
This type of stuff actually slowed my progress out of Mormonism. I'm not trying to be harsh just to attack you because I'm assuming your motives are good. I just don't think it'll be as effective as you want it to be.

The list is real. The denial of Mormon lies is not. snb, if you think Mormons are honest, you haven't met my father. If you think my evil father is a rare Mormon, then you don't get out much. The lies are stacked higher than a fake book of plates.
I don't claim that all Mormons are honest, but it is a severe overreaction to claim that they are all evil. Mormons believe a similar myth. They don't think that they are normal either, they think they are all good and all better than the rest of the world. They use the same anecdotal arguments as well.
Mormons aren't all evil and Mormons aren't all good. Mormons are normal, just like everyone else. There are no magical properties that make them any different than any group of people in this area of the world.

When I clicked on it I got an immediate warning that there was a java-exploit trojan (or something similar, I didn't copy the exact wording) had been detected and quarantined. If you clicked on it and didn't get a warning, you had better run a virus scan.
The site is fine. It looks like you might have some rogue security software installed on your computer though. Basically what this does is it tells you that things have viruses and offers to sell you virus protection in an attempt to steal information about you.
I'm not an expert though. I'd welcome any techie to either confirm or deny what I am saying. :)
