I ordered a case of wine. It was shipped from cali and now the UPS tracking said it is in SLC awaiting shipping to Colo. Do you think it will be ok? or will the tbms empty the bottles while it is in ut?

If it has a bitter taste, you know who to blame...

Can you sue the LDS church for spoiling a case of wine?
Hmmm...

I heard on the news there was going to be a world wide wine shortage! My first thought was to stockpile boxes of wine. I could make them into a lovely side table.

Your biggest problem on this shipment is that the wine is not from OR. ;)

If you know of a place to order from, I will gladly try some OR wines. Let me know.

King Estate.

I'm a big fan of their NxNW, but I love the straight up Pinot Noir.

Thanks,

I will try some from there next. Wine infused jam. Now that sounds interesting.

I checked this am and mine is supposed to be out for delivery. Hopefully it arrives in good shape considering it went thru Utah.

I have been using left overs in cooking too. It makes a subtle difference but very pleasant.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm possibly the worst person from whom to take advice on wine. I don't drink it very often and I like small ones.

However, if you buy sunny year vintages of PN from WillaKenzie or Domaine Serene, I think you would be very happy with it. I know they ship around the country, but don't know the specifics of CO.

Hope your shipment comes through fine.

Thanks to this link, I am considering an order of their Thanksgiving pack, as am hosting a Turkey Day feast this year and have five people to feed and water. Six bottles should be fine, right? They're not big drinkers (and I don't drink at all).

Be careful, the SCMC police are known for intercepting and confiscating cases of wine and liquor being shipped through holy Utah. If the shipment is confiscated, they will place a tracking device on it so its whereabouts can be constantly monitored. The perpetrator will then be reported to the First Presidency and checked against the Church's apostate database. If a match is found, the bishop and SP of the evil-doer will be notified. If the problem persists and apostasy continues to run rampant, the Church will unleash the Danites.

Oh my my my,

No wonder there is a wine shortage! Well if they stop by I will spike the orange drink with a little or a lot of zinfandel. Shame on UPS sending the alcohol thru SLC.

The wine arrived and appears to have escaped the horrors of SLC. I won't open a bottle until company comes over next week unless the missies appear at the door (then I might open one).

Thanks for all the support.
