All verifiable from tscc sources:
1) Joe's in the "money digging" business with his family. Looks in white hat to find buried treasure. Motivation-MONEY.
2) Joey tries to sell 5000 BOM copies at 2.25 ea. Would have made 6000 in profit. A tidy sum for his day. Motivation-MONEY.
3) Joey tries to sell the copyright of the most sacred book in the world-the BOM, in Canada. Motivation-MONEY.
4) Joey admits to defrauding customers in finding buried treasure. Uses the same methodology to create BOM. Motivation-MONEY.
5) Joey starts the anti-banking bank-the "kirtland safety society" bank. (excellent marketing name by the way). It fails. Motivation-MONEY.
6) Joey charges customers to view the mummies containing the writings of Abraham. Motivation-MONEY.
7) Joey invests heavily in nauvoo real estate. Sells deeds owned by others. Motivation-MONEY.
8) Joey sends elders to Salem on wild goose chase to retrieve treasure hidden in house. Motivation-MONEY.
9) Joey, like Brigham Young, charges people for giving blessings. Motivation- MONEY.

Is it any wonder that the current money grubbing leaders of TSCC are motivated by the same thing-MONEY?

you know, if it weren't for the polygamy/ sex scandalous behavior, it wouldn't bother me that joe started a church so he didn't have to farm his whole life. His parents had nothing, so they couldn't have given him cash to start a store, or the ability to go to university so he could be a lawyer, preacher etc.

So nothing wrong with preaching and visiting the sick and afflicted as a job, that he could pass on to his child later. But he didn't seem satisfied with a little country church.

Nope it had to be world-wide and give him access to the presidency of the united states. Kind of overdoing it. Now he's just scamming people out of their money because he doesn't want to do much except be the leader and tell others what to do with their stuff, so it ends up in Joey's hands.

You're wrong! He was pure, and doing selfless acts for the building up of Zion. Anything bad or money-grubbing was done by disbelievers, or evil men, or soon-to-be-apostates, or gentiles, or anti-s, or evil spirits, or salamanders, or the Tanners, or Steve Benson, or....... SSSSSSssaaaataaaannnnnn..........

And he dedicated it all to the love of his life... Emma...I mean, probably, Fanny..or was it Lucinda (with the permission of her other living husband-George, of course), Louisa?, Zina (her other husband, Henry, was good with it too...), Lucy? Helen? Ok, there are way too many more for me to keep typing. But, maybe he dedicated it to all the loves of his life!

* Don't forget about the mansion house that "God" ordered the Church to build for Joseph Smith and his posterity.

* The land deals were especially profitable for Joseph et al since they repeatedly moved the saints to frontier lands that were VERY cheap. Of course, those cheap lands then shot up in value as the members and new converts were gathered and resold smaller plots by Joseph et al.
