According to IMDb.com, the budget for "Ender's Game" was 110 million, and thus far it's grossed only 60 million in the US. It's had one month to make a profit. Probably the studio has at least made their money back from overseas tickets, but it's always a bad sign when the US totals are less than the budget, especially after one month has gone by. His despicable remarks, going far beyond what an ordinary Mormon who believes in the "sinfulness" of homosexuality would say, appear to have helped kill his attempt at the big screen. I couldn't possibly feel more schadenfreude than I'm feeling right now.
