Anyone here who is still attending who will be wearing pants? Or anyone still connected enough to have information on how it goes in your area?

Here's the BabyCenter thread:

It's stunning to me how many of these women don't have even a basic understanding of feminist issues. I don't know how anyone can get to child-bearing age without realizing that they're being treated differently (and badly) simply because they're women.

As much as I don't want to go to church today, family ties demand I do. So I'm going in pants! I'm glad someone else on this board remembered the day.

I completely agree with you about these women. I don't understand it either, make sure to post if anything happens BabyCenter Snoop!

Wasn't it enough what happened to poor President Paternoster last year?

a few months ago here, there was a rumor that a certain SP told the men in his stake that Dockers pants/slacks were prohibited...

(lesson in Morg micro-management)

told this to Uber-TBM 'best friend' whom I've known for 30 years or so; he says:

"Well, the SP has the AUTHORITY to do that"

Better yet, I hope they have "Wear a Kilt to Church Day" for the men. After all, Utilikilts can look dressy.

Some Presbyterian churches do have special kilt Sundays! Since I don't go to the Morg, I can wear my clan kilt any Sunday I want to. Maybe I will wear one to TSCC if I am going for some function.
Yep. Good idea!

Here is a link a friend shared on Facebook.

I love the last line: "Organizers acknowledge church policy has not discouraged women from wearing pants since 1971. They said until that same year, Disneyland required women to wear skirts."
