. . . and goes, by gawd, straight back to the founding source of officially-embraced Mormon prejudice and bigotry against Blacks: yes, to Joseph Smith himself.

None of this "trace-it-back-to-but-stop-at-Young" poopola that Mormon Contortion Central is feeding the cluelessly-conditioned faithful through its Committee-Behind-the Curtain anonymous authors.

Cited, sourced and cinched--with much of it from LDS sources.

I've had enough of this bunk from the Church of Geezus Christ! What Lying-day Saints.

That's what I've been wanting and waiting to hear.

Me too. But in print where?

I was saying his comments in the SL Tribune needed a bigger stage. So, how big can he go?

Mr. Benson has written many informative pieces here. I'd like to see them gathered in one place for reference. Somewhat along the line of the old church books that consisted of articles arranged by subject. Each article could stand on its own.

I am sure others would enjoy his works as a reference material and for their own edification.

With e publishing it may be a possibility?

Keep us posted on where we can read it - hopefully on this board.
I hope it goes into the Washington Post but certainly in the SLC Tribune. GO STEVE! As Heartless said, you are an excellent writer. I say the same. I appreciate the time you put into this for the benefit of the people who need to know.
Maybe CNN?

Steve,

You might already have this source, but thought I'd pass it along. This is a citation from a college paper that I wrote. It points to an article written by Joseph Smith in the Messenger and Advocate that appeared to be condecending towards blacks. It may, or may not, be something that will help you.

Joseph Smith Jr., "On Abolition." Latter Day Saints' Messenger and Advocate, Vol 2. April 1836, 289-301

It's good of you to post up the reference in advance.

From your other posts, I see you're curious to find out who is authoring the church's essays. Does that relate in any way to your unholy hit piece on Joe's racism?
