I was told by a applying returned Missionary that it is really hard to get into BYU now. He did anyway despite being an Early Return!
Is it because they prayed so hard?

Apparently the consensus that there is no sanction against early returns is supported.

I am proud of being early return, maybe I'll bear my testimony on that next month

"I would just like to let everyone know how grateful I am to have come home from my mission a year early. I got a lot done in that year I didn't spend preaching the gospel to people who didn't want it."

I had Crappy grades from Ricks/Hicks, was a RM; I didn't get in either.
