Easy test for Book of Mormon (Day/night/day w/o darkness) cont.

I agree, that nonsense about the day and a night and a day with no darkness is just another one of the many ridiculously fantastical things that happen all over the book of mormon. Funny how they're so prevalent in that tale but never never never never ever happen outside of make-believe land.

As a TBM that troubled me, so I used to theorize that there was a super nova while the nephite side of the earth was facing it and that's what kept their world bright. But by the time the jesus side of the earth was facing the blown up star, it was only kind of bright. You know god went to celebrate the birth of his son to torture by blowing up a random star. Q.E.D. No nephite night and new star explained all in one. :)

I'm no astronomer, but I think there are some serious problems with that theory.
