My vote goes to the one in Brigham City. Every time I come over the hill and see it, I think for a second I'm in the Middle East. It's just plain weird and out of place.

So...before this thread gets closed, what's the prize and who won? Is the temple the winner or the one who suggested it? And don't say it's a tour of the temple for the one who suggested it...cause none of us here probably have TRs.

Everything that occurs in the temple is uplifting and ennobling. It speaks of life here and life beyond the grave. It speaks of the importance of the individual as a child of God. It speaks of the importance of the family and the eternity of the marriage relationship.
—Gordon B. Hinckley
Blah blah blah. Note how he doesn't mention anything about the OUTSIDE of the temple being uplifting and ennobling?
I can forgive a derivative like the SLC temple, what I can't stand are the poor attempts at uniqueness.
When I was in Junior High I would peg one side of my pants and let the other side flow free. With my shirt I would role up one sleeve and let the other down. It was really really stupid but I thought I looked like the sh!t.
