Just re-reading the transcripts of the Swedish meetings and wondered. Might have already been addressed here. If Perry were asked, would he give the same curt reply he gave Hans?

Perry never did have anything in his briefcase except some snacks and a copy of MAD magazine.

As far as the timeline, I don't think the essays were even near completion when the Swedish rescue occurred

I believe you are correct on that point. Perry was just pulling mental BS on them. "I have the answers here in this briefcase to all your questions. But since you are asking for them, that means you lack faith and aren't worthy to see them. And if you were worthy to see them, you wouldn't ask because you would take my answers on faith."

Wasn't the rescue meeting held 3-4 years ago?...and Perry said this sometime before that meeting with Jensen and Turley? Even if he DID have something, how could you have ANY respect for someone that would say that and then not put up?...if he DID have something, he obviously had no intention of "saving" these people.

On second thought, maybe he had a selfie of him and Jesus...if anyone looked at the picture of Jesus without faith they would surely die!

As Bite Me infers, I'd wager that the manuscript in Perry's briefcase was about as real as the golden plates that JS had in his possession.

Funny how both were just too sacred/secret to show anyone else.

If he had the answers in his briefcase, wouldn't he also have had them in his head and be able to discuss them?

This one link at FAIR answers everything. I can not overstate its truth here in answering every critical question of the church.
