So far, from the skimming I have done, I am aware that the following news agencies have been contacted:

Huffington Post
CNN
ABC Australia
BBC
SL Tribune

any others been contacted?

I suggest contacting NPR and other online new sources like Yahoo!, Jezebel, and Salon.com. You never know who might be interested in running the story.
