Let's get the 'Game of Thrones' people working on that; (there's too much sex for the networks).....

They tried something pretty similar a ways back: Carnivàle

Mysticism, Chirstian revival, and Masonic all mixed into one. Sounds familiar?

Night one: two hours--early life and up to the organization of
the Church. Money digging, 1826 trial, Rock in the hat
translation.

Night two: two hours--Kirtland and Missouri: War, apostasy,
Kirtland anti-Bank, and the beginning of polygamy; mummies and
papyri, jail escape.

Night Three: Three hour finale--Nauvoo! Nauvoo Legion; Polygamy
gone wild; masonry/temple ceremonies; Expositor press destroyed;
Carthage shootout.

Working title: "Lust for Glory"

Oh I think this could be a real series, like The following, or Pretty Little Liars. Way more lying, murder, sex and drama and plenty of pretty women.

Damn now I'm actually getting inspired to write something. I'm thinking a story going back and forth through time. Modern day Mormon happens on a family journal, finds the truth, struggles to cope. Parallels to JS true story and characters like Sarah Ann Whitney and her brother. Like really, this actual stuff is way more dramatic than anything I could make up on my own...
