My wife and I haven't been to church in over a year and now have no plans on returning. It took about 9 months before we got phone calls to "see how we are doing". My wife has received a few texts from some RS person she has never met to "come unto Christ" and come back to church. People who we would consider our "church friends" have called our home phone that is on the roster but never call our cell phones. So annoying.

So my MiL just came over and told us she ran into our "friend" and he told her that he has been wondering how we are doing and that we haven't been to church in over a year and that every time he calls no one answers (well duh call my cell u have it in ur phone). I guess by sending a message through my MIL he feels he has done his part vicariously? And outed us to my MIL at the same time.
