I really miss singing the hymns and primary songs by myself and with my children. I grew up in the uniting church before converting to TSCC. I can't sing the songs of my childhood church either because they all seem so loaded with cult language.
Does anyone have some ideas of uplifting joyful muscle I can sing and with children that is not religiously loaded? Thanks in advance :-)

Yes, look up on google or you tube Snatum Kaur. Songs like "May the Long Time Sun Shine Upon You." It's heavenly music without all the dogma.

I'm an atheist, but still enjoy playing songs on the piano from the Methodist Hymnal given to me by my Methodist minister grandfather. Classic hymns, many easy for children to sing.
