I'm guessing that it's not open on Sundays, but one never knows.I just read someone's opinion that Salt Lake City is one of the more liberal places in Utah. That surprised me, since Salt Lake City is church headquarters.

No, City Creek Mall is not open on Sundays. There's a couple of restaurants that are, but that's it.

SLC is only about 40% Mormon.

Last year, I was in town, and the only available day I had to see CCC was on a Sunday. So we walked around. We were the only people there. There was a security guard who kept giving us the "what are you doing here - go away" evil eye. And it took some driving to find the sole open parking-lot entrance.

Oh, and the retractable roof area, (the main part) was behind locked doors, so we could only see it from outside the glass doors.

The Cheesecake Factory was strategically located on the perimeter of the property so they can be open on Sundays, while the gates to the main mall are locked down.

I tried to go there last sunday but it was locked up.

it was also easter.
