visiting a friend in Utah and picked up this gem from their Ward Snooze letter.

"So I am in new to the area.. just north of downtown xxx and wow- it's 100% different from where I was serving! I have walked so much these last few months... It's insane. But I love it. I love bus contacting, I love contacting on trains at every stop. The ward here is so beautiful. Literally, they are the most beautiful people in the most beautiful outfits. Then there's us. Frumpy little missionaries. It was really hard for me when I arrived in this ward because I found the world of fashion calling my name and I just wanted to raise my hand and tell everyone I don't normally dress like this. But I said multiple prayers and refrained and kept telling myself I am fine without the world of fashion."

Her ability to turn away from the world of fashion is nothing short of A MIRACLE.

" I love bus contacting, I love contacting on trains "

I love how she thinks her best bet is to tract to captive audiences.

On Brisbane Australia trains I believe there's a fine for hawking. There are also "quiet cars" where talking, music and phone calls are prohibited, so you wouldn't have to listen to these clueless cows bothering people during a time when they can at last relax.

Remind me of the time I heard Missionary discussion on a bus. The elder was just rambling in non stop, and dominating the conversation.
I was tbm at that time and even found it spiritless and like a sales pitch.

Haha - I had a comp that felt like this. She wanted to return to Spain someday in her normal Idaho clothes and show everyone how stylish she was in real life.

OMG. Because no one in Spain will have anything as nifty as what she got at the Old Navy in Boise?

Wow.
