Kind of a contradiction in terms, since atheist means "without god(s)"

But I guess people label themselves how they want.

Seems to be an attempt at 15 minutes of fame.

"Look at me! Look at me!"

Many people think that Atheist means the denial of god, which is, of course not the case. It seems this person is agnostic, which does not exclude that they are also atheist.

Being an atheist doesn't mean declaring that there is no god (although some do, but that's in addition to their non-belief).

However, it does mean that the evidence presented for a god is insufficient to merit a belief in god, so one doesn't believe it.

I can't say there is no god, but I can say that I don't believe in god. I'm not a theist. That makes me an atheist.

I don't see how one can say, "I believe in god, but I'm not a theist." That doesn't make sense. If you're an atheist, then you're not a theist. Simple as that.

Changing the word God to the word Creator doesn't work for me. But, to each their own, I guess.

Exactly. Being atheist just means you begin with the assumption there is no god. But, if presented sufficient evidence, you'd be open to believing.

I thought that was the definition of agnostic...

Everybody with me now.

You keep on saying that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

in the concept that they believe "God" represents. This has nothing to do with any "Godness" outside their belief system. How could it? You can only judge what you can conceive of.
