So it was my first sunday in the ward today. I was sitting in the chapel waiting for Priesthood to begin and once we all got quiet, somebody came running in the chapel announcing that a black BMW convertible's top is open and its raining! Unfortunately that car was mine! I got up out of my seat and I ran outside to put the top up. It was hilarious. I came back soaking wet. It turned out that my convertible is A ok.

Thanks for sharing I am feeling better.

Is Mormon priesthood meeting helping with the recovery?

Do they still teach that I am an apostate for rejecting the One True Church and disavowing my eternal Mormon temple death cult rituals such that I will be punished by Mormon God accordingly, what do you say when they say that?

Amen?

How was Mormon church today? Please do share.

No, i was just trying to be descriptive. Anyway, the reason i am sharing this is because its funny. I wish people weren't so offended.

I wasn't careless. I didn't forget. Honestly, I thought it wouldn't rain. It was really hot outside and I was sweating the way there with the top down. What is the big deal? I just tried to tell a funny story and people are getting offended, people are arguing, people are getting mad over this silly little thing.

I'm not offended. Just trying to see e where the joke was. I guess I missed it.

Like, if I were to share a story about how I was at the store and someone announced that it was raining aND my windows were down. I go out to roll them up. I then come back in and am wet.

Is that a funny story?

It was one of those incidents where you had to be there to laugh. Of course you wouldn't get it.

Somebody delete this post.

Yeah, you probably had to be there in context to get the situation.

Maybe it was the fact it interrupted the routine that made it funny.

But you titled your post "Funny story during Priesthood", not "Funny Incident..."

You originally claimed the STORY was funny, now you've made the excuse that you had to be there for it to be funny.

So even YOU admit that the STORY you told about the incident was not funny, only the incident itself was funny.

You have just confessed to being a liar. Hope you enjoy your ride straight to hell (2 Ne. 9:34).

I must be missing something.

It's like people who forget to turn off their lights or roll up their windows (it can always randomly rain where I live). I would never leave my car unlocked.

Some helpful person made an announcement because the owner of the car was careless or forgetful. It happens to all of us at some time, I'm sure.

Everyone was probably thinking, "What a dumb@ss to leave the car open."

I don't get why it is funny. It makes you look kind or irresponsible or naive maybe.

I'm very amused by this. It brings me right back to what going to church was like. And how we'd just wish something would happen out of the ordinary because it was just so brain numbing. And how stunted our collective development was.

Oh, NOW I get why it was funny. You were in priesthood (chuckle) when a guy came in saying the top was down (laugh laugh) on a BMW, and...it was yours!!!! (Super laughs)! Then...(giggle) you went out IN THE RAIN, (hold on, I am laughing too hard to type!). You put the top back on (wiping my tears of laughter!) and went back THROUGH THE RAIN! (Choking on laughter!). You are crazy man, super ZANY! That is a funny story. Oh, my sides hurt.

Finally someone got the joke. It is too bad they had to use sarcasm to express themselves.

I smell a rat...notice how the OP's screen name changes. Then the mid-post moniker "Church is True". Is this the same person as the one this morning, or some other troll? Granted, Sundays after church are boring, but you can't hide here. We are not fooled.

I can perfectly understand his panic. He had to run out to his convertible because it was raining. The roof was down and he had locked his keys inside. Did he call out AAA?
