IMO, even though the article mentions that it was disbanded in 1945, it seems possible that a new one secret one was formed. From the little that I've been able to piece together, only a few select GAs were/or are? members of it.

A shadow governing body, with the GA's as puppets seems very plausible. L.D.S. Inc,'s goal has been to spread its tentacles worldwide. Certainly that would take a much more orchestrated effort than just a few duffers speaking at conference.

Could the 'Strengthening the Members' committe be run by it.

Personally I'm averse to conspiracy theories, but when it comes to culty religions I have to admit that strange shit can happen. What I now know about Mormonism makes the hairs of my neck rise.

I just read about it in American Crusifixion. Very interesting! I think that whatever evidence on this is deeply hidden/protected. I really think that this is where the possibility for major scandal, regarding the church, will happen.
