"High standards are not enough. There are kinds of excellence — very important kinds — that are not necessarily associated with the capacity for renewal. A society that has reached heights of excellence may already be caught in the rigidities that will bring it down. An institution may hold itself to the highest standards and yet already be entombed in the complacency that will eventually spell its decline."

The Shakers transformed into the Oneida company. Mormons could become Kolob Real Estate holdings.

Good one.

How about Deseret Administration and Management Network of Ensign Development or DAMNED for short.

Great point, however I have to nitpick a little. The Oneida community were not Shakers. They have a fascinating stoy of their own. The Shakers taught celibacy; John Noyes (the Oneida founder) was more like Jo Smith.

An excerpt from the Wikipedia page has an eerily familiar ring to it:

"John Humphrey Noyes was informed by trusted adviser Myron Kinsley that a warrant for his arrest on charges of statutory rape was imminent. Noyes fled the Oneida Community Mansion House and the country in the middle of a June night in 1879, never to return to the United States. Shortly afterward, he wrote to his followers from Niagara Falls, Ontario, advising that the practice of complex marriage be abandoned."
