As my payee. I wonder if this means I'll be getting it back(with back pay) in a month or two!?? This is the first time we've heard from them all summer!
Occasionally the payee is evaluated to make sure that SSI is being used for the recipient's benefit. They may ask for receipts, bank statements, etc. as proof that it was used specifically for you. Helps to avert fraud in the system.
They've already got this information before months ago whole I was on it. How are supposed to find this information from 10+ months ago when they should already have it!?? Just another headache for us to go through?
funds (simple) or whether he is, in fact, able to everything a payee is required to do. If it's the latter, things may get difficult.
If there aren't any readily available payee candidate, they may evaluate YOUR ability to handle your own funds. No promises, but I've seen it happen. As long as your are wiling to contribute to the household expenses, I don't see why this would be a problem.
That's why I my older brothers in charge once that happens. We finally got another sibling on it off as having my dad as payee. But this marrihed sibling would bug us at work, home etc.. about it. They don't work. They are freeloaders. Never did they tell my dad "Thank You". Unlike me who does.
I'm relieved to hear something has been set up for the future. Is this the brother that lives on an island? I remember you mentioning that brother a long time ago.
I have another question regarding stewardship: are you forced to tithe?
