I kinda jumped the gun on that one...my bad....but Thursday drinkin' is OK too...tomorrow is my birthday (66) so beer WILL be consumed.

I'm off tomorrow and Monday so today is my Friday. I'm doing a new open mic tonight in Oregon City and will have a beer there, something good from the tap I suppose.

Tomorrow were going camping/ kayaking so I need to go to the store.....Trader Joes for Blueberry Wheat Ale, Fred Meyer for Rolling Rock, and the liquor store for a bottle of Jameson Black Barrell Irish Whiskey.

My new favorite Friday night tradition is pizza and beer!

It's bad luck when a Friday falls on a Thursday. I'm having a Coke with ice.

Oops Ron Burr, we will let it slide. What choice do we have anyway? Surely there are some out there that won't even recognize the difference & post what they are drinking tonight, all the same.

Since I have Friday off, Yay!, I am drinking Vernors (ginger ale) and bourbon with ice on a Thursday. Ah... Tired and it is a relaxing drink.

Will you be toiling over the servers? ;-)

As usual, this marathon runner is drinking clean, fresh, spring water that I bottled myself from a local spring.

It's MY CHOICE to drink lots of water, not some institution that likes to masquerade as a "church."

Yeah! We can drink anything we want!

I finally don't care what a bunch of semi-strangers think. They don't speak to me, anyway, (shunning), and they'll spread whatever lies they feel like telling about me. I won't be drinking alone, so Hell with them.

Why doncha try a Johnny Utah?

Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add
2 oz. blanco tequila (silver, white, you know, clear)
3/4 oz. lime juice
3/4 oz. celery syrup
1 dash celery bitters (look online, it's worth it, really)
shake well and strain into an ice filled old fashioned glass, top with
1 oz. club soda
lime wedge

celery syrup
2 tablespoons celery seed
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
simmer, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let stand 25 minutes until room temperature, strain.

We're going to the local "Run Sweat Beers" 1 mile, 3 mile and 5 mile FREE run at our local brewery. AND, when we finish, we get $1 off our beer! I don't know what I'm drinking yet. Not a "sour" beer, I didn't like the last one. They have plenty more to choose from.

I haven't got a drop in the house, but will probably get some wheat ale for tonight. I've been partial to Shock Top and Blue Moon lately. I haven't got wine for ages. A good Riesling might be nice. Since I started living the simple life I have neglected to get good beer and wine glassware. I might remedy that today too.

Wow it is not even noon yet where I am. We might as well get this party started because it is 5 o clock somewhere.

I have absolutely no clue what I am doing to night so I am going to have to wait and is.

My roommate got peach moonshine as a tip! It was so good! I don't know if I'll ever have the chance to have that high of quality alcohol again.

Thursday was Cranberry Gin and a Pizza Port IPA.

Tonight will probably be more of the same. Really loving cranberry gin lately.
