I don't have any really stupid advice to share (some really questionable, but ultimately all defendable and none that out there) that I heard/heard about from a dentist/contractor/accountant, err. . . ecclesiastical leader.
But I just got to wondering, have any of you sought really stupid advice, to show those near you the bishop/SP/GA really doesn't have any special insight?
Like implying (if lying for the lord is ok with them . . . or you) your spouse is sleeping around and solicit stupid advice.
Or confessing your porn addiction on work computers (something that could be disproven if/when it came back to your spouse).
Or bringing up your concern about your concern about possible future same sex attraction.
Or how the spirit told you to move to Vegas to become a professional poker player with tithing as your bank.
Or imply your family has been shorting tithing (when you know you haven't).
What would happen to your spouses relationship with TCoJSoLDSif they saw the bishop say false/stupid things to them based on "revelation"?
I just fantasized about calling up the bishop and leading him to believe things about us that aren't so. I wouldn't lie though. Just . . . hint. I wouldn't really do it though, but it would be fun to see the reaction.
