The LDS church has a history of mobilizing it members into an army for hire. Is there any other religion that has hired its members out as a private army?

It would not take very much for the LDS religion to create an army of 100,000 men & women willing kill.

Do you think the LDS church would once again send its members off to kill for money? The last time they did it, it was for money.

Mormon leaders now are too lazy, fat and old for that sort of thing. Government has also changed dramatically, and they'd never get away with it.

Most likely true but if the church was offered a lot of money to fight a war for another country or even civil unrest in the US, do you think they would jump on the opportunity to once again kill for profit? I do. They are that evil.

Uh, no.

The church can't even mobilize its people to visit a short list of people every month. They're not going to just pick up rifles and go a-marching to kill.

Moreover, the LDS church has a history of attempting to integrate. That's how Utah achieved statehood. Mormons are attempting to mainstream. Why would they jeopardize it for... killing for profit? For who? Why?

It seems to me you're trying to project some kind of malevolence on the part of a whole population with zero evidence. In less polite company, this might be termed bigotry.

How many members did they get to pick up their mops and plungers and risk their lives with chlorine and lye so that they could layoff their janitorial staff?
