I work with one and like her immensely. She works hard, is the mother of 5 kids, one of which is bi-polar and has a son who is largely being raised by my friend; her husband is an alcoholic and she is a survivor of lung cancer. I can't stand her particular brand of religion nor her politics, but I am always willing to set that aside because I like her so much. She is my go-to person, if I ever need help or a listening ear.

Some Christians I've known are really incredible people. Others, considerably less so.

Without getting too into it (BaC), I rather have a related story to share:

I have a dear friend, fellow poet, artist, lover of beauty and Krishna devotee that has a bumper sticker on her ride that reads, "Born Again and Again and Again". Surely it makes some people laugh, some think and others crazy.

"Have you been saved?" they always ask. "You might wish you had saved that question for someone who wasn't born right the first time or that cares to do it all over again or who has a cute yes-no answer you seek" I might reply.
