It isn't. The question was whether or not the good the church does outweighs the bad of all the lies and the pressure to conform and blindly do what you're told. My wife and I say no. That's why we are out.

But, if some decide to stay in, even after they know it's bs, then I wish them well. I only hope they will have the courage and integrity to help the church dump the more bigoted, hurtful parts of mormonism in favor of a more inclusive, accepting kind of religion.

I understand, I continued to go even after I knew for certain it was just crap. But the bigotry, and homophobia, just seemed to start oozing from the congregation when Obama was elected president. So, I quit going. I can listen to fairy tales and find them amusing but I don't do well listening to hatred.
