So roughly 375,000 active mormons saw the film, perhaps a few times. I am not even remotely curious about this film. You would have to pay me 4.5 million to see this film, okay well maybe just a $1,000.

The purpose of the film was probably multi-pronged, but you know the "brethren" didn't think twice about production cost being covered, know they could eek out every last bit of recreational money from the faithful.

I will never see this infomercial. The morg is so predictable that I know everything they will say.

Not interested.

It's over $5 million now, but that is nothing compared to the major movies. It appears to be doing very poorly.

and is now showing at a couple of dives in Santa Fe, but I think after that, it will limp back to SLC and then reincarnate as a DVD, to glorify TBM movie collections and gather dust.

Oh well, nice effort, Mormons.

You can't even take the $5 million as accurately representing the number of viewers. Remember, Holland urged mormons of means to buy out whole showings, or to buy blocks of seats. Once bought, some of those seats may have remained empty.

That sounds like 500,000 mormons went to see the movie.

If half of the 7.5 million went, it would have grossed 28 million.

If all 7.5 million went and took a friend, it would have grossed 120 million.

They can't even get ten percent of the mormon tribe to attend the movie.

It's more like only 4% of TBM's went to see this. The pathetic box office isn't worth them bragging about!
