LDS Inc has just publicly admitted being deceptive with their membership, whom they strong armed for money.

At the very least, the national discussion should be if the LDS organization should be allowed to keep all their finances cloaked in secrecy.

Some of think they should be taxed like any other corporation.

I think their profit should be taxed.

What monies they can prove went to charity/humanitarian purposes should not be taxed.

It shouldn't be that hard to figure things out.

The national discussion? Surely you jest. The nation as a whole doesn't give a damn.

The nation should care. There is. Significant tax base that should be considered.

Should be transparency.
Tax statements should be public records.

And several rules:
* employees non-profits should not be getting salary and benefits of more than twice the value of a congress persons base salary (no bennies), or else they lose status. (no million dollar NFL/NRA)
* public benefit means more than 75% going to charity. Need some rule for groups starting up, or struggling. But no 6% is better than no percent.
