Polygamy and Printing Presses

I haven't posted for a while (nor been on the board much). Can someone tell me what TBMs' responses are regarding the new essay on Joe indeed having all those wives (not even addressing the teenage wives and polyandry) and his order to destroy the printing press for publishing the truth which act set his demise in motion? If I was still Mormon, and confronted with this, my head would explode! I have got to figure out a way to broach this subject with my family without having to call in Merry Maids.

I am also looking for an opportunity to bring this up as religion is currently not a topic open for discussion by my own doing.
