Lindsay claims that from ages 13 to 23 she was one of 10 “maidens” and was sexually abused by alleged cult leader Victor Barnard — a fugitive currently facing 59 felony charges, including criminal sexual conduct. Lindsay blames her father, Carmen, for turning a blind eye. Carmen says he had no idea what his daughter was going through, because Barnard had such a mental hold on him -- and he’s desperate to repair his relationship with Lindsay. Emotions run high when the two come together for the first time in more than a year. How does Lindsay say she finally escaped nearly a decade of alleged abuse? My wife called me into watch that. She kept cheering whenever Dr. Phil would tell the father how he was responsible for selling out his daughter to a sexist. I thought of Joe Smith during all comments on the show.

I just wish somebody would air an obvious juxtasposition of this story and the j.s. story.

According to the Minneapolis paper this morning, he has been added to the US Marshal's most wanted list. This has been news here for a number of months. The crimes were committed in the northern part of the state.
